Ms. Daphne Chong Li Wen obtained her Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Multimedia University in 2018 and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2019.
During her university years, she was actively involved in law debates and moot competitions, earning several notable achievements:
Prior to admission to the Malaysian Bar, she completed her pupillage at Teh & Lee and began her legal practice as a legal associate where she was exposed to conveyancing and corporate matters, including Initial Public Offerings (IPO), Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), corporate due diligence, commercial tenancies, sub-sales, and developer sales.
In 2020, she joined Phang & Partners as a legal associate where she handled diverse development project portfolios across Melaka and Johor.
Daphne is now the Managing Partner of the firm and she focuses on real estate and banking works. She works closely with a wide range of clients, including individuals, developers, financial institutions and real estate agencies and actively conducts workshops, seminars, and talks on conveyancing-related matters.
She also holds a certificate in Islamic Banking and has substantial experience in preparing financing and loan documentation for both conventional and Islamic facilities. She is trusted by her clients for her dedication, commitment and responsive service. She is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and Hokkien.
